No blood for undefined U.N. mandates

The parallels between what we’re doing in Libya and what happened in Iraq are so rich, to the point that the invasions happened on the same day (March 19).

Our Nobel Peace Prize winner is doing all of the same things Bush had been criticized for, except this time some of the criticisms are accurate. No Congressional approval of any sort, no real end game, and a war that is being fought for ideals rather than any real threat to the U.S…

Honestly, I’m still scratching my head as to why Obama is behaving this way. Is what the U.N. thinks really that important to him? Because otherwise Obama supporters really don’t have a leg to stand on, unless they want to be labeled the biggest hypocrites since who knows when. After all, justifying a war by saying we’re going after a murderous dictator was one of the major arguments for the war in Iraq, and Saddam Hussein was twenty times the butcher Gaddafi is. At least Bush (and the rest of the world) thought that WMDs were a distinct possibility in Iraq. What’s the danger to us from Libya?

Anyone that promotes and refuses to see the obvious hypocrisy at play here truly is a drone. If you defend Obama on this one, then you must apologize for Bush. That’s all there is to it.
